Crisp passing and excellent finishing was the order of play for the Men's 3rd XI and they smash 7 past Slough in a game they dominated from start to finish.
Slough started the game well and gave Marlow a very competitive match for the first 10minutes until an excellent cross field ball from Ben Rollett set up Che Armstrong to defect the first goal in and set up the start of the rampage. From then on Marlow started to dominate the game as the Slough heads went down. The forward line of Robin Walls, Gareth Baber, Che Armstrong and Pete Moralee worked well as a unit scoring 6 goals between them and assisting all 7.
All credit can not just go to the forward line as the team linked up very well from the defence and midfield. Speical credit must go to the defence as this was their 3rd clean sheet in a row and look like a very hard unit to break down.
This was a top team performance from a very good Marlow 3rd XI and if they continue to play like this they will win the league with no problems at all. The team now look forward to an away day v Windsor 1st XI and want to continue to keep their spot at the top of the league.
