It is with the heaviest of hearts and tears on the keyboard that I write with some very sad news.
Earlier this week, after a short illness Alex Clee passed away. We are absolutely devastated by this tragic news and the loss of a great friend and such a popular member of our club.

Alex was a wonderful person and an integral part of Marlow Hockey who made an incredible contribution both on and off the pitch. Alex joined as a Junior, went to Uni and came back, captained the Ladies 1s, played for most Ladies' teams plus our mixed and touring teams for many years.
Alex and Richard met at MHC and Alex was also instrumental in rejuvenating our junior section in the early naughties once Jack was old enough to play. Off the pitch Alex was a parent, supporter and at the heart of all our social events.
She was Vice Chairman from 2006 - 2009, Treasurer from 2014 to 2019, an Honorary Life Member and a winner of the Hatcher Shield and Chairman's Salver

Alex will be mourned and missed by everyone that knew her and our thoughts are with her husband Richard and son Jack at this terrible time

There will be a minute silence before all games tomorrow
